Baym, Gordon - American Physical Society Lars Onsager Prize

ICMT member Gordon Baym is to share the 2008 American Physical Society Lars Onsager Prize for his "fundamental applications of statistical physics to quantum fluids, including Fermi liquid theory and ground-state properties of dilute quantum gases, and for bringing conceptual unity to these areas." Honored with Baym will be Christopher Pethickof NORDITA and Tin-Lun Ho of the Ohio State University.
